“Comparison is the thief of joy” comes to mind here, but reworded brilliantly! I think our culture raises us to always be looking to the “they”, outsiders and people who’ve come before us, and that’s what cripples our confidence. Amazing post! Thought provoking and a necessary reminder that we need to aim to be US, not someone else!
